DESCRIPTION:Please join us for the opening reception of “How I Tell Time”\, a print show by Amy Callahan. Amy will be showing 20 linocut prints. The subject matter is the passage of time as seen by a mother in rural New York. Prints will be available for sale (great holiday gifts!) and there will be a raffle as well with chances to win free art. \nThere will be a musical performance by Liam at 6:30 pm. \nFree snacks\, drinks available for purchase. Kids welcome and encouraged! \nThis project is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrant program\, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes.

DESCRIPTION:Guitarist and composer Liam Lawson will present his arrangements of Shaker songs he has re-imagined and arranged for solo guitar. Glenn Eric Bean will present Shape Note Singing. The audience will have an opportunity to try a shape note song\, at the end. \n\nA reception will follow\, instead of the usual intermission- bring snacks to share\, if you want\, warm beverages will be provided.\n\nThis special concert is free\, donations are optional. \nThis project is made possible\, in part\, with funds from the Statewide Community Regrants Program (SCR)\, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes.
